Fee Schedule
Fee Schedule:
- Total Half-day: $1,200.00
- Total Full-day: $2,600.00
- Evening: $750.00 per party
- Saturday: $750.00 per party (half-day) and $1,500.00 per party (full-day)
These rates include reasonable preparatory time and basic office expenses associated with the mediation.
Additional work exceeding the half-day or full day appointments is billed at an hourly rate of $250.00 per party, per hour.
Additional work exceeding a four-hour evening mediation or a Saturday mediation is billed at an hourly rate of $250.00 per party, per hour.
Additional Information
Weekend Sessions: Saturdays are available for mediation or arbitration sessions on our online calendar.
Additional Sessions: A small number of complex, multi-party or other cases require more than one mediation session.
In these situations, the parties may request that additional dates be held in advance to continue negotiations.
Payment: Mediation fees are due prior to the mediation. Credit cards accepted. Checks should be made payable to Judge Robert Stem.
Expenses: Travel expenses (i.e., hotel, rental car, meals, taxis, etc.) will be billed and submitted for purposes of reimbursement within thirty (30) days of completion of the mediation.
Cancellation Policy
Payment of the mediation fee is requested prior to the start of the mediation.
If the mediation is canceled or re-scheduled more than 10 business days from the scheduled mediation date, Judge Robert Stem will refund each party’s entire mediation fee.
However, if the mediation is canceled or rescheduled less than 10 business days from the scheduled mediation date, only 50% of each party’s mediation fee will be refunded, and if the mediation is canceled or re-scheduled 5 business days or less from the scheduled mediation date, no part of the mediation fee will be refunded.
